Hello DCS Pilots,
there is new from the house 'Sparrowhawk Productions'...
the DCS-Radio-Tuning-Device has finished and is ready to test!
This tool can be used to change frequencies in the aircraft more efficiently.
Currently the device works with the following aircraft types A-10C, Ka-50, UH-1H and SA 342M. For the M-2000C is unfortunately read only possible.
- You can set a preset frequency and then transfer to the active side via a transfer switch, as with modern aircraft.
- Up to 10 frequencies per A/C type can be stored.
- You can choose between the Normal and Compact view.
I have the tool especially designed for my 'Helios' but it can also be used without 'Helios' for example on a second monitor or so...
In addition it is now possible to run the application on a different Windows Computer. On a WINDOWS tablet for example.
If you wan't to run the Radio-Tuning-Device in DCS.openbeta 2.5 you have to do the following:
1. Install and start the Radio-Tuning-Device in the stable Version.
2. Copy the file "C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts\cdu_data.luac" to "C:\Users\Sparrowhawk\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts\cdu_data.luac"
3a. If you have the same export.lua in both DCS Versions (stable and openbeta) you can copy the export.lua from the stable to the openbeta folder.
3b. If you want to do the special entrie by hand, look in the export.lua of the openbeta("C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts\Export.lua")
and insert the following entries:
function LuaExportBeforeNextFrame()
dofile(lfs.writedir()..'Scripts\\cdu_data.luac')
end
If the green rows already exist in the export.lua, insert only the red line.
If you have done this the Radio-Tuning-Device should be run in DCS openBeta and also the DCS Data-Loader 3.0 from the side:
