Traffic Pattern Procedures

Beitrag von Geskes » 17. Dez 2010, 18:30

Grüße, deutsche Flieger!

I habe deutsche Klasse gehat in Schule aber mein deutsche Sprache ist sehr begrenzt so ich gehe weiter in englische Sprache :)

This is Geskes from the ED forums. JaBoG32_Laud has invited me to come over and post here so we can agree on a time so I can take a peak on a session where you fly patterns according to your squadron procedures. I would really appreciate that opportunity because I am building a mission that is a pattern trainer, a mission where pilots can fly patterns and get score depending on how well they perform. But of course then I must know how to do patterns correctly otherwise the mission is a joke :)

I am from Holland by the way so we are in the same time zone, any night is good for me. I can be there this sunday or any other night next week. Let me know what day and time suits you best.

Looking forward to it.

For me Sunday 1800h would be good, as I got to leave at about 2100h.

Anybody else available?

Most probably yes.

However I might get delayed a bit.

OK, nice, since multiplayer interface is bugged, should we exchange server and teamspeak data before that time? I think we should to prevent problems. Looking forward to it. If I can finish this mission correctly I am quite certain we can have qualification campaign when final version of dcs a-10 is launched.

Might have some more questions for you guys on other topics if you do not mind. Things about BFM, that kind of subjects. It needs to be all included in that campaign but some of the material is hard to find. Even with patterns there are different guys saying different things so then it is hard to judge what is truely the right way, look at example ED forums where the guy says no 60 degree.. but yeh in the end he conclude 60 degree for all turns but turn to final so no big problem but then I think why say it is totally wrong in the first place like he did?

So you see lot of people say different things but lot of people also talk crap :) Need quality info and I think you guys are quality :) So want to ask questions if that is ok.

See you then!

No problem mate, just ask away and we try our best to answer.

If you want to know some things for sure, regarding the A-10, you might want to check THESE forums. It's a community of RL A-10 crews and enthusiasts. I think I'm gonna register there too, as I also have a lot of questions when it comes to mission concepts.

Oh that site is nice. I guess they wouldn't mind some simulator junkies asking away :)

I think it will be O.K. for them. They just discovered DCS:A-10C themselves and like it! :)
