Lomac+Vista: X52 + SST unter Vista funktioniert doch!

Kurzanleitung aus versch. Foren zusammenkopiert:
Sollte das auf Anhieb nicht funktionieren, liegt es zu 99% daran, dass noch alte
Saitek X52 Vista Treiber sich im System eingenistet haben, meist in
C:\windows\system32\driverstore\filerepository\sai***
Diese Treiber manuell zu löschen ist die Lösung vor Neuinstallation der genannten
Treiberversionen und SST Software.... das Löschen allerdings geht nicht einfach so,
sondern gemäß unten angeängter Anleitung.... tricky!

GANZ WICHTIG HIER: Die XP Treiber *UND* XP SST Software nehmen,
nicht die Versionen für Vista !!!!!
First you install driver x52_151205_32.exe
Soon you install the soft sst_151205_32.exe
And soon you place the file d3drm.dll in
c-->windows-->system32 restart and but gives no error you loaded the profile correctly that you wish

Download d3drm.dll and place it in your C:\Windows\System32 catalog and then install joydrivers followed by your identical SST Programming 32bit XP drivers (note I restarted computer btw placing the missing dll file and installing the software, don't know if it's needed)
P.S the self-registation faliure of SAI3DVIEWER.dll shouldn't appear if it works, as it did for me

Although it is certain that there is to have the game to driver and correct SST so that works. Mine they are:
sst_151205_32.exe
x52_151205_32.exe

1) Disable the control account security thing in Vista. Not sure whether this is necessary, but I wondered whether the drivers were installing properly. Anyway - make sure you're logged in as administrator.
2) Unplug the X52. In Device Manager, remove the entries for the Saitek devices - including the Magic Bus - and choose to uninstall the drivers as well.
3) Delete any Saitek related stuff in Windows/temp and any redundant installs of SST in Program Files.
4) Run the driver install: x52_151205_32.exe (no compatibility set for any/all users). Plug in the X52 when prompted and check all OK.
5) Run sst_151205_32.exe - with no compatibility defined.

It's when I try do upload an allready existing profile through the profiler to the x52 I get this message:
Lomac F15.dat does not contain a profile for this device.
The device has not been profiled.
I get the same error when using the clutch.
It was worth a try if it would get me flying again this weekend.
your effort is greatly appceriated.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong ?

automatische Wiederinstallation von Treibern verhindern
Wird eine Hardwarekomponente installiert, legt Vista die Treiber dafür im Verzeichnis
C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\
ab. Wird die Hardware entfernt und wieder angeschlossen, wird auf die Treiberdateien
in diesem Verzeichnis zugegriffen. Vielleicht will man das aber gar nicht, weil sich
herausgestellt hat, dass dieser Treiber fehlerhaft ist.
Für jede Komponente ist ein eigenes Verzeichnis vorhanden - meist lässt sich schon
anhand des Namens erraten, welche Komponente sich dahinter verbirgt.
Ansonsten hilft ein Blick in die Datei mit der Endung .inf, die sich in diesem
Verzeichnis meistens befindet.
Ist der Übeltäter lokalisiert, kann er entfernt werden - es empfiehlt sich, das
Verzeichnis vorher zu sichern, damit man es bei Bedarf wiederherstellen kann.
Bevor man das Verzeichnis und seine Dateien löschen darf, muss man zunächst Besitz
davon übernehmen und sich selbst die entsprechenden Rechte geben.
